Ray Naccari \u2013 Bandleader\/Keyboard player:<\/a><\/h3>\n

\n Ray began playing piano at age 7 and continues studying piano and orchestration today. In the private recording studio he built in his home, he has produced numerous artists, commercials and small films. He has been musical director for Black Stars of the Great White Way, featuring Ben Vereen, Keith David, Chapman Roberts, Andre De Shields and Norm Lewis; Two Sopranos Sing Opera to Blues at Carnegie Hall, in which he was also featured in a solo piano performance of Debussey\u2019s Claire De Lune; and productions at FIT College. Favorite live performances include working with Jennifer Holiday, Cuba Gooding, Sr, Gloria Gaynor, B.J. Crosby, B.T. Express and Ryo Kawasaki. Favorite venues include The Blue Note; Birdland, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and on BET\u2019s (television) Jazz Central. He has recorded & co-produced Bob Marley (\u201cSoul Almighty,\u201d The Formative Years, which went platinum); Shania Twain\u2019s \u201cThe Beginnings\u201d. Ray created two orchestrations for the BBC Orchestra for the 2007 production of Chapman Roberts\u2019 \u201cThe Gospel According to Broadway\u201d at the Hackney Empire Theatre in London. He also played keyboard in this production and was featured soloist in \u201cLive the Dream.\u201d Ray won \u201cMusical Director of the Year\u201d 3 years in a row, awarded by the Josephine Foundation. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n

Clyde Bullard \u2013 Bassist:<\/a><\/h3>\n

\n Musician, Magician, Producer\u2026Clyde Bullard has played bass with Bill Withers, Eddie Murphy, The Weather Girls, Gloria Gaynor, Martha Wash, Freddie Jackson, Cuba Gooding & the Main Ingrediant, The Delfonics, Brasil\u2019s superstars Beth Carvalho, Zeze Motta and Jair Rodriques. He spent seventeen years as the bassist for \u201cThe Boys Choir of Harlem\u201d, touring the world. He created \u201cMystic Merlin\u201d, a band that performed magic in concert and was signed to Capitol Records. Clyde has played in the orchestras of such Broadway shows as \u201cTwo Gentlemen of Verona\u201d, \u201cHair\u201d, \u201cBubbling Brown Sugar\u201d, \u201cA Chorus Line\u201d and \u201cAmen Corner\u201d. As a producer, he has worked with Bucky Pizarelli, Jay Leonhardt, Eddie Palmieri, Joey DeFrancesco, Stanley Turrentine, Marion McPartland, Jon Hendricks, The New York Opera, Alex Blake, Gloria Lynne, Little Jimmy Scott, The Tito Puente Orchestra, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, Jimmy McGriff, Kenny Garrett, Barry Harris, Jimmy Heath, Gary Bartz, Randy Weston and The World of Brasil. Clyde is also on the panel for New York State Council for the Arts. <\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n \n

Brian Woodruff – Drummer:<\/a><\/h3>\n

\n Brian Woodruff has performed with Marian McPartland, Rufus Reid, Bobby Watson, James Spaulding, Sherman Irby, Robin Eubanks, James Spaulding, Gary Versace, Harvie S, Jiggs Whigham, Jerry Hahn, Adam Niewood, Toru Dodo, Peter Evans, Stacy Dillard, Ledisi, Melba Moore, and on the Today Show. Recently, Brian has been performed with Rich Perry, Genes and Jazz at the Kennedy Center, The Flying Tomboulians, Return to Whenever, Vicki Burns, and Marieann Meringolo. He has been the house drummer for mega-church Unity of New York for the last 14 years. As the founder and organizer of the Blackbird\u2019s Session, he played with a revolving cast of some of New York\u2019s finest jazz players during its 3.5 year run. Brian plays drums on upcoming releases with The New-Trad Octet and his own OKB Trio. \u201cThe Tarrier,\u201d his first CD as a leader, has garnered rave reviews and critical acclaim. He received a Bachelor of Music in Applied Percussion from the University of Connecticut and a Master\u2019s Degree in Jazz and Commercial Music from the Manhattan School of Music.
